Leaving Woods on is criminal tbh, he's having a mare, and why the fk is Tufan still sat on the bench ?
We've been grinding out some results but our play forward has been very patchy and tonight it's been nearly non-existent.
Can’t believe we actually payed a transfer fee for Woods. Even if it was a free transfer, I’d say his wages would be a waste of money.
I tried mentioning this about Oscar weeks ago and was shot down. He is pointless for much of games. Watch his involvement in their second goal. He trots back behind the guy, close enough to stop other city players engaging but not close enough to do anything. His touch is often poor and he gets pushed about in the air. Yes he scored some goals, many of which were tap ins, but overall he doesn't do it for me. The fact he is replaced when we are behind by a midfielder says it all. Give me connoly any day of the week.
Well we don't have a striker on the bench but did have one playing wide we could shift up front, not sure that "says it all". But agree he's been poor tonight. Was good on the weekend though.
