Shame we couldn't get one of those halves vs Watford. Martin was genuinely outstanding at RB, making loads of runs forward, linked up with Redmond well. Hopefully this will see Bennett stay at CB and Martin will finally go back the RB. O'neil is such a calming influence, really can't see why he was dropped last week. Rudd continues to show Ruddy how to do it. Jerome needs to have a long talk with himself tonight!
Ok, that's phase one complete - all we need now are wins for ManUre, Watford (go canarydave ) and Tottingham tomorrow. I can't envisage any hiccups, can you Edit: Oh, and if manchester City beat Swansea by at least 3 goals at the Etihad, we climb a place in the table, too Edit: Watford a goal up already

Not sure who was given MOTM in the ground, but Rudd appears to have been awarded it by the PL. Interesting to see that it was him and Bennett who faced the TV cameras.
...and it's not going to be easy for JR to remove him from what I have seen. Maybe time for him to move on?
He'll be a good 2nd choice keeper, I know he's form isn't great but I don't think he's a bad keeper. But it's great seeing Rudd doing so well, hope he can keep on improving and become a top GK.
Would he settle for 2nd best? I am not so sure he would. I know I would not after being the first choice for so long.
I don't think Ruddy can be written off that quickly. Rudd has been good, but his form can drop, or Ruddy find his form of old in training. Then it'd be tough to split them again. Ruddy knows he has real competition though, and maybe that will push him to improve.
Or he might work harder getting his place back, having 2 players fighting for a place is a good thing I think. On another note, I thought it was strange not to play Bennett at the start.
