Our 36th game last season home to Norwich, it was a draw, 1-1 and we were losing 1-0 at half time,
Our 3rd game of the season however was the first of 2 on the bounce we lost 1-0 after 2 x 2-1 wins.

Norwich City striker Nelson Oliveira will again be absent as he recovers from a groin problem.
Defender Grant Hanley returns after being cup-tied against Brentford in midweek, and James Maddison has been back in training after a calf injury.
Cauley Woodrow and Jonathan Leko are set to return having been ineligible for City's EFL Cup win over Stoke.
Defender Eros Pisano is not expected to return from his knee injury while Gary O'Neil (knee) is definitely still out.

I am not really impressed by the AI predictor S A M, DOESNT SEEM TO GET MANY RIGHT !
    I would suggest H 36% D 34% A 30%

    SAM's prediction
Home win 51% Draw 25% Away win 24%

    .
    Match facts
Norwich are unbeaten in their last four league games against Bristol City (W3 D1).
The Robins have lost eight of their last 10 league visits to Carrow Road (W2) including each of their last two.
We seem to be bucking the trend somewhat this year so might be a favourable day

The Canaries have won six of their last seven matches at Carrow Road in September in all competitions (D1).

The Robins have found the net in the last 15 minutes of Championship matches more often than any other side this season (5). Bit different from last couple of seasons!
Nelson Oliveira has found the net eight times in 12 league starts for Norwich City at Carrow Road. He is supposed to be not playing!

Bobby Reid has scored seven goals in 11 matches in all competitions for Bristol City this season - only one fewer than he scored in the 104 appearances he made for the club prior to this season.
    Nice stat that

    ----------------
    P Pts GF GA dif
    8 Bristol City 8 13 15 10 5 W L D D D W D W
    12 Norwich .... 8 11 8 12 -4 D L W L L W D W after a poor start Norwich starting to fire, whilst City appear to be "doing OK "

worst scenario we could be 12th best is could be top 6th

All good things must come to an end and it will not be a disgrace if we only come back with less than 1 pt

How I thought they would line up, great to see such a strong bench, any replacement would not weaken the side. coyr.

0-0 final score. Another good result. Of course I wanted 3 points but a point away to Norwich is always good.

Stats seem to say we were on top and edged it but having said that, Norwich hit the post. IMG_1843.PNG

All in all 0-0 is an acceptable result at Carrow Road and I thought we looked solid. Many times in the past I have waited for the inevitable opposition goal late in the game but now we look to be made of sterner stuff. I don't worry as to how questionable substitutions will affect our performance because again we seem to have most situations covered by the bench. We look to be a side that won't easily be beaten and could even be regarded as a strong competitor as long as we keep our good play and commitment at the forefront of our minds.

Unbeaten is a comment I like and we have handled some of the tougher clubs in the Championship along with a couple of Premiership scalps thrown in for good measure. I am enjoying my ability to live screen the matches and although it's an early wake-up call it's worth the hassle when we play this way.

Wonder what's happened to Robin Unreliant?
He predicted 8 points for first 11 games mind you Captain Moron RR first predicted 7 then 23 then 19.
And I'm not knocking him (not RR, that's my favourite pastime now) just wondering what his view is now?

Well I predicted 13 from 11, I am so glad I am wrong, although RR chopped and changed his prediction, I hope his 19 is going to be closer than mine.

I can't remember how many points I predicted at the start but I remember I was pessimistic.
We have certainly exceeded my expectations so far.
