Chelsea will start really fast. If we can shut them out the first 15....I think we have a chance. We need to frustrate them, and see out their blood and thunder they seem to create the first 15-20 minutes. They then seem to tire, and they seem to lose confidence.

And you know how fit we are, and how we push to the very last minute of injury time.

Just need to navigate their start in my opinion. If there is a time to get a positive result against Chelsea, it would be now. Before they all click into gear.

On the other side. Frank will know this is a 100% must win. He hasn't won in 3, he can't fail to win against a newly promoted side as well.

Then there's the young ones. I just hope when Ben Godfrey puts his City shorts on before today's game, he's taken Newcastle's £40m striker Joelinton out of his back pocket from last week. Jamal Lewis has been immense since his debut in Christmas 2017. Like every other stage of his City career, he has taken Premier League life in his stride.
Finally Todd Cantwell. Whilst last year some people questioned his ability, I listened to people like Darren Huckerby. Hucks always praised Todd and said his true potential will come out in the Premier League. Todd has definitely worked hard in the summer and it's definitely showing the rewards.

So today, again let us fans do our bit by raising the volume up a notch again, both all game and especially in the 49th minute for David. And I am sure the players will do their bit. Again, we will be very proud... on and off the pitch.

 

The BBC may be predicting a Chelsea win but Stan Collymore has gone against the grain to predict 2-2. The Independent has gone even further:

Prediction
This is far from easy for Chelsea, who will be desperate for a victory in any way, shape or form. Norwich will be flying and the defensive vulnerabilities will not have disappeared for Chelsea. If N’Golo Kante is injured, a home win looks well and truly on, but if he can play some part, score draw.

The big news is N'Golo Kante isn't in Frank Lampard's squad due to injury, with Mateo Kovacic replacing him in Chelsea's starting XI. It looks like a 4-3-3, with Pedrp, Abraham and Pulisic the front three.
