You just have to get on the website as soon as possible after 9am and wait until you get your slot in the queue. I didn't know you could buy two tickets.
I gave up my ST for the 17/18 season, but towards the end of that season, I could see 'green shoots' of what DF was trying to get the players to do, so I was lucky enough to get an ST for last season - one row in front of where I'd been sitting for the previous 10 or so years. I WON'T be giving up my ST again any time soon, no matter which league we're in!!!!
I notice that the BBC football page implies that Chelsea are not far off their first win. "Only" Norwich and Sheffield Utd up next! Wouldn't it be nice if Teemu and Billy had something to say in the matter of FLC getting their first win?
Interesting comments by DF on Leitner and his own willingness to choose the line-up tactically to meet the challenges of PL opponents: https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/canaries-moritz-leitner-premier-league-quality-1-6224262 That could be critical to our chance of success this season, as could his willingness to make tactical substitutions like Leitner coming on in the 55th minute at Anfield. Another cause for optimism.
Yes Rick, I read that earlier and it seems DF is acutely aware of what is needed in the PL and judging by the team's performance in the opening 2 games, so are the players. It's abundantly clear that NO ONE associated with NCFC has the slightest interest in changing from the tactics that worked so well last season, despite what Karren and the pundits may advise and will sink or swim playing entertaining and attacking football. Saturday's game SHOULD be VERY entertaining !!
Entertaining and pivotal I think JM because if we can pick up points from teams like Chelsea then it bodes well for the season. A reverse would not be the end of the world, far from it, but the momentum from a positive outcome then eases the pressure on the 'must win' type games. I don't think Chelsea will fancy it to be honest
Leitner was pure class on Saturday. His vision and unhurried play was a joy to watch. Been watching since 1971,and this was the best performance I can remember. Vrancic is my fav player, but where do we play him??
I'm sure Chelsea are NOT looking forward to it and no floodlight failure to help Frank on Saturday. Probably won't get very good odds at the bookies either!!!!
I reckon Lampard will be gone before the end of October, took on the job way too early in his manager career.
In many ways defeat for us would not be a disaster whereas for FLC it certainly would be. The draw would be most acceptable to us but for Chelsea would almost certainly mean slipping further out of contention for the title and/or a top four finish. It's one of those games like the opener when our opponents are just expected to win and anything less would be seen as failure. If we score first then I think they may have problems.
I think Lampard will be given plenty of slack for two main reasons. 1. He's a legend amongst the Chelsea fans. 2. The club is under a transfer embargo so he can't bring in any help! We shall see
Ah nice work! You sitting together? Hope the atmosphere is as rocking as it was for the Newcastle game for you guys!
Bryan Gunn is a Norwich legend, we didn't give him much slack If Chelsea aren't near the top 4 by Christmas there will be pressure on him.
I don't think Gunny has the managerial qualities that Lampard obviously does, I really think our board were wrong to risk Gunny's standing at the club!
No, by the time I got my slot (approx 9.30 and I'd got on the website at 9am!?!), the seat near me had gone, but he's about 10 seats along on the same row. If anything, I expect the crowd to ramp up the volume another notch!!!
