Whilst i don't like nor rate Mikel as a player in the slightest, the stats speak for themselves on this occasion. We're currently a better side when he plays. Matic has been totally out of form all season and RLC isn't a midfielder who will sit and hold, he has too much energy.
Well Arsene has had a 'full free hand' and won only 2 fa cups in 11 years. Fergie was a one off and would have been sacked before he even won a trophy in this era. Jose was allowed to sell Mata and De Bruyne and Lukaku despite their obvious quality and potential. He had plenty of influence. Not really sure what you are expecting the club to allow Jose to do?
