Great, great result against strong Villa team. Brilliant! Up to 4th now and only two points behind 1st!
Great to see John Terry with a face like her husband's come home early! Great performance, well done lads.
Fantastic result tonight, so pleased for Rhodes. Apparently we made 18 passes in the buildup to the winner. Seems like the team are really playing as one. Shame Thompson picks up yet another injury. Only other potential downside is Klose might be on the receiving end of a truly ridiculous ban for swearing in a post-match interview: On a lighter note: And Ipswich now need a 6-0 win to escape the relegation zone.
Yes it's easy to talk about team togetherness, Farke's tactics and the quality of youth coming through, but very few mention the impact of DD's match day threads on our results. Keep it up Nonuts!
So Thompson back in to the "Matt Jarvis wing" of Colney. Didn't see what happened. Did it look serious?
One of those, not too much in the challenge, awkward fall but most would probably bounce up and get on with it, unfortunately the boy is made of glass. Bah!
Shame, though having Godfrey as back up is no bad thing. EDIT: Dislocated shoulder, from Farke's comments after game... “It is really disappointing. You get the feeling that this lad has all the bad luck going in football,” said Farke. “He was out for two years and then some muscle injuries when he came back and then he falls on his shoulder. “It looks like a dislocation. It is very, very painful at the moment. “All our thoughts are with Louis. It doesn’t look too good at the moment. We hope the doctors say it is not too bad but we are at his side. “He had a small injury in pre-season to his shoulder but I don’t know if it was the same shoulder. You have the feeling why is it always happening to this guy. Everything happens for a reason and if you show his commitment and this attitude and the pride he has to play for the club then you don’t deserve this bad luck. He will come back stronger than before after some more dark hours.”
Completely forgot that we were playing last night. Lovely way to start the day. Those 18 passes above a delight to watch. OTBC
It was a BRILLIANT game to watch and the fans were fantastic - REALLY getting behind the team, even when they went off at half-time. WOW - JR even got a mention on BBC Breakfast and showed his 2nd goal. Edit - So my 'sacrifice' was worth it!!! PS - This from DF in his post-match interview -"I'm happy for Jordan - his second goal was typical predator instinct, only a real number nine is able to score such a goal." An incredible goal

Yes, that 2nd goal was exceptional and I watched that on the way home last night. The reaction of the Villa players when JR's second goal went in is priceless!!!! Great cross from Stieperman to create the chance as well.
Exceptional indeed, JMF, but we should also mention the quality of Buendia's corner delivery for the first goal. His corners have been excellent, including that for the first goal against Forest. He was also exceptional defensively tackling back, intercepting passes and stripping the ball away. What a bargain he's turning out to be. His WhoScored 'strengths': Tackling: Very Strong Ball interception: Very Strong Passing: Strong Holding on to the ball: Strong Taking set-pieces: Strong Defensive contribution: Strong Weaknesses: None
