A must win game. I don't care if it's not mathematically impossible even if we don't win, we need to win. If we don't, I will probably accept it's not going to happen. And I've believed it's possible since November.
I would go with a 4-1-3-2 - as we did against QPR - with just a couple of changes.
Ricardo (Weale if fit)
Naughton
Bruma
Bamba
Mee
Oakley
Wellens
King
Gallagher
Waghorn
Yakubu
Mee was about 10 times better than Van Aanholt and the biggest positive from the game (if you can take any positives from such a gut wrenching defeat).
I don't think Abe and Oakley should both be in the team at the same time because they don't offer enough going forward. I think Abe's been poor the last 2 games and Oakley did well against QPR, so I would drop him back to the holding role.
Vassell wasn't bad at all the last 2 games and I think he's much better down the centre. Having said that you only have to look at the impact Waghorn has made when he's come off the bench against Bristol and QPR and see that he's more of a threat. The misses yesterday were poor but he did make something out of hopeful balls and a confident him would have buried them.
We need to stop the rot. I think it's set up to be a brilliant and close game. I think we'll just edge it 2-1 with a late winner.
