Game over. Good to see Diaby back in the action, some nice touches. Finished the league season with 5 wins on the trot
Farewell Gooners, today underlined why we are down. You guys had no real urgency in your play, very much like a training session, and City could not create anywhere near enough problems for you. It's been a hard season but hopefully will bounce back to resume hostilities - btw, good luck next weekend
Cheers. Shame it had to be you going down and not WBA, much rather you lot stay up than those passionless brummie bastards, but hopefully you'll hire Mackay and bounce back.
Funny to think that we won the league with 78 points in 1998. Like Liverpool, we blew our only chance to win the League this season because we didn't take heed of the injury problems and get a few pro's in January. Even still, we should give Wenger a couple more years in which he can start thinking about moving upstairs and overseeing the new manager whoever that may be. We just have to make sure we get a proven winner and not a Moyes, Wenger is the greatest but the league is a different animal to the one he tamed all those years ago.
Pointless bringing the useless lump sonogoals on, but good to see Diaby and Jack back. Cracking goal from Ramsey and a great pass by Giroud (who again was superb today).
Most important thing was that we picked up no injuries. Good that after all the injuries we picked up this season, we go into a cup final with only one injury (Walcott). No excuses now, we have to win on Saturday.
Away fans did us proud again. Absolutely thrilled with Diaby's reception, and how much it meant to him to get that support. Loved Jenk's celebration and obvious happiness in scoring a goal for us.
