They don't really have a physical prescence in the middle of the park. I'm watching them now, and Diakite may be big(ish), but he's not that tough. Arteta and (insert anyone other than Ramsey here) could deal with them, without needing to rush Frimpong back too soon. Remember he too has had a long layoff.
Come on Everton. I know QPR winning is good for us, but who would want QPR to actually win? It's funny seeing them struggle after spending s much money.
I notice this thread started to tail off when we began to dominate Everton. When's Walcott back? Will he get any game time on saturday? It sounds like Wilshere might get 45 minutes-ish. 24 Mannone 04 Mertesacker 05 Vermaelen 11 Santos 25 Jenkinson 08 Arteta 16 Ramsey (Gnabry - 83' ) 19 Cazorla 09 Podolski (Oxlade-Chamberlain - 65' ) 12 Giroud 27 Gervinho What formation do your lot play? I'm guessing we'll go with 4-5-1 considering we're away from home, something along these lines: -----------Cesar Bosingwa-Nelson-Mbia-Traore Park-Granero-Diakite-Faurlin-Taraabt -----------Zamora Three wins and a draw out of five at home this season is pretty decent. I watched your games against Norwich and West Ham, and i'm really struggling to decide whether i should be feeling positive or negative for the weekend..
Against West Ham we had total control. The second we stepped up a gear they couldn't handle us. Against Norwich we looked tired and off the pace. Our passing had no sharpness to it and nothing seemed to be comming together. We missed Walcott i think. Who we play depends on injuries - we may see Wilshere get ome game time (prob as a second half sub) - the rest of the team depends on who is available to play - we have had a few knocks to players recently.
I only remembered Walcott was injured three quarters of the way into the Norwich match, up until then i'd been wondering why Wenger hadn't introduced him, he would definitely have helped break down their stubborn banks of 4. When's he set to be back? I'm hoping you play as strong a side Vs Schalke as you did against Olympiakos, we could do with a few of your players being fatigued for saturday
Hope we can score early against QPR, cant face another game of trying to break down a team of 10 centre backs
