calm down soft ****e, I know you haven't felt that way in years so it's understandable you are still errect from it. This thread is titled norwich vs arsenal, which is what i'm here to discuss. now how do you feel about Morrison (a conference player two years ago) stuffing a 'Premier Leage' defence?
Oh big Mert, why oh why did you do that? Anyway, we are level and our wingers are playing well. But the midfield have not been great in terms of their forward passing.
I think we (Norwich) need to make changes at half time. Morrison has got isolated up top on his own. He needs some help, preferable with pace, Maybe Simeon Jackson. Our full backs are not able to handle Walcott. Not sure what the solution to that is.... I hope Lambert has a plan or Arsenal will score again, and maybe more than once. First half I thought Arsenal were very good. Shame about some of the finishing and there were a few lucky moments for us. After the Equaliser, I thought we did much better and started to give Arsenal a game. Just need to get a bit more threat up top while hopefully not surrendering too much in midfield.
Bennett on for Fox. I hope that does not cost us the midfield battle, but good to see an injection of pace albeit out wide.
IF, (and it is a big if!) we get anything from today, it is Arsenal's own fault. They have had ample opportunity to bury this game.
RVP is the difference. Definately. Without him I think Arsenal look to be a decent mid-table side at best. With him you are top 5 or better. When you take into account that you are playing a side who would be delighted with 17th.....
Arsenal fans singing "you've only come to see the Arsenal" shows total disrespect and a lack of knowledge. Our ground was over 95% full for every game in League 1. Even snowbound fixtures against the likes of Exeter Cirty. The only empty seats at Carrow Road in the past 5 or 6 years have been in the away end. It is only a record today because Arsenal have brought decent support with them and the ground has recently been extended.
How the hell can they be tired? They've probably covered less ground than Norwich. Sounds like a possible fitness issue at the club?
