It’s the players who are dictating the poor play. There is no enterprise or determination. They are going through the motions and are being paid well for doing so. Player power at its worst.
I was wrong. Pukki going off. Brave decision, David. The fans may start to question our Supreme Leader now. Shame he couldn't get a goal, though.
Sickening for Millwall 3-1 at half time in the play offs now losing 3-4 to Blackburn letting Sunderland in.
We have no divine right to go up every 2 years & some hard work & sensible transfers will be needed to turn this disaster around .
That was appalling, abysmal. No belief in the play. 27 shots, 5 on target. Basically, 27 shots says something is being done right, but no end result. They had 6 shots on target, relegated, but more " clinical" than us.
NCFC 28 shots 5 on target. Beaten at home by a team who had been relegated by the time they reached CR. This has got to be one of the worst seasons on record. The performance at home was very poor. When DS left we were 5th in the league, we finished 13th. Will DW keep his job?
As long as the "sensible transfers" bring in players who are willing to graft and fight. Like so many times in this dismal run we played well up until the goal went in and then we wilted and resorted to wild shots and lost all discipline. Wagner has commented on this and it's up to him to insist on getting the players he needs to forge a team that will fight for every point.
Felt like a testimonial match for Pukki, everyone was desperately giving him the ball near the box and he was taking on shots in positions he should have passed and moved. I’m a big fan of Lungi but he has been getting progressively worse at CB, hope we only see him a DM moving forward.
6 points from the last 33 pretty much sums up this season the ony point at home was the 0-0 against Rotherham
