Sounds a good idea to me. Personally, losing Pukki has hit me harder than losing either Farke or Buendia, partly because it really does signal that the dream of the last five years is over, but also because he seems to have become such a fixture that I find it hard to believe he has only been here for five years. And also because he does seem a genuine, level-headed human being who I'd be very happy to share a pint with. In an age of Cantwells, I appreciate a Teemu. I really hope that on Monday DD can put up his Pukki Party icon for one last time (or two or three).
Dunc mate I am totally lost old boy. I think we are all completely agreed that the club needs a shake up. Obviously fans can help, but it’s a mutual thing, the players and manager need to give fans something to enjoy and cheer for, as well. I think Norwich fans are pretty good at being patient on the whole. Dean Smith was given a huge amount of slack - far more than say Hughton even though Hughton achieved more with less.
This fixture should have been more than a Pukki testimonial, which in all honesty he's been playing like since he refused to sign an extension but wants one last pay day elsewhere. Good luck to him & build the bronze tribute. Probably our best ever player behind Buendia & Lewis Grabban
Yes he confirmed that Pukki would start as Sargent has basically been nursing an injury for the past couple of months and as we are no longer playing for anything he has now stopped training and will not be in the team this weekend so that he can fully recover for pre season
