Well that was so so so depressingly predictable! Time to start a thread about who our targets should be for a promotion push next season!

 

This game's far from over, can see Mbokani grabbing an equaliser then who knows what will happen. But I concur, we need to spend in January; with this squad even staying up will be a tough ask when you look at how well every club in the league except us and maybe Villa did in the last window.

we are not what you would call 'dynamic' in the final third...

 

Predictable and tentative come to mind straight away, every game.

 

Might have to give up on this game soon. Seen all this before too many times already this season. A draw in this would have been a bad result with the games we have coming up.

A little early, but I do get the feeling these Norwich players want me to!

 

i really like the way our club is run, as a sensible financial enterprise, within our means, but it does mean we have a squad that is the second cheapest in the league, and no real scouting network to speak of.

For that reason i think we are destined to bounce up and down a bit for a few years unless we are prepared to either pay over the odds for players, or invest a lot into our scouting network.

We just aren't going to stay in the league long when every set piece against us is a goal scoring opp, and we seem to lack the discipline and skill to fashion a dangerous chance from 9 or so attempts in a row.

 

It's the composure in the final third. We simply haven't had any.

 

Still only 1 shot on target is so pathetic. Really is. Can't believe no one has even scuffed another one on target.
