Reading back through my last post, I quite like the sound of 'Timm and Zimm' Better than 'Tweedledum and Tweedledee' any day
please log in to view this image A plethora of sixes in MB's ratings from yesterday. From listening to the radio coverage, I'm surprised Vrancic is that high, to be honest? Eleven of the 14 used warrant a six? (6)
There were hundreds off us! Wasn't just me.We didn't get searched or anything. I think they just opened the doors and let us flood in in the end as we had already missed the start.
A bit harsh on Zimmerman, Gunn and Reed I think. Bit generous on Husband, Farke and Vrancic. Think a 7 for Farke is a bit generous too.
The Norwich City FC Facebook page advised fans get to the game early due to additional safety measures I think, not sure if it was communicated to fans in any other way.
I was going to post something similar but resisted putting myself in the firing line! It's a shame that trolls can stop you posting what you want in a land of free speech!
Id have hoped that, given our new CBs are both 6'4, they would be able to win at least ONE aerial battle in a match vs a league 2 side... but NOPE.
Boo hooo hooo poor me , I was going to type something amusing and clever but thought better of it in case the trolls pick on me . Get over yourself Dave you unlovable, lonely ,victim card holding attention seeking child.
It was discerning to say the least!!! Zimmermann was good with the ball on the deck but i can't understand the love he is getting for last nights performance. Neither CB won anything in the air. I know its early days but i hope this improves soon!!! Vrancic seemed lazy and wanted far too long on the ball too. On the plus side, JM and Wes were good. Though Josh made some great runs in behind the defence a few times. Think 5 would be a little harsh on him. Gunn-7 Pinto- 6/7 Zimmermann-6 Franke-5 Husband-6 Reed- 7 Wes-8 Maddison-9 Vrancic-5 Murphy- 6 CJ- 6/7
Two soft set piece goals against a team from League 2. Are we up for this competition? We should have walked this game but, as has happened so many times, we went to sleep showing lethargy and complacency. The Basil scenario looks like an early stand off with manager wanting to be a strong man but these situations rarely resolve themselves. I hope there can be an amicable settlement if not he will want to go and play for a team where he will get a starting place in the team.
I am surprised that Gunn rates so high, OK, he made a couple of good blocks at the end, but for two headed goals he never moved at all. The defending in front of him was poor, but he should have done better, in my humble opinion.
Certainly how it comes across from the brief highlights I saw. Virtually stood and admired the second as it went past him?!
