It's funny really, if RM was playing people would be talking about that goal more.

 

If Jerome hadn't scored people would be saying that Nelson would have got a hat trick etc.

Not really the goal came from a set piece so who is to blame the person giving away the set piece, the keeper for not organising the defence, the player who should have been marking the header of the ball, the coaching staff, who knows. Anyway it's never been about players making the odd mistake. The issue with Martin is he regularly makes mistakes which regularly cost us. I fully accept that mistakes happen and own goals will happen and sometime there's nothing you can do about it. But Martins positioning is often poor and he tends to be very slow at closing players down.
