At least it sounds as if we tried to win it. Although from what you guys have said, CH will not be happy. 2-1 up and trying to go for extra goals. At least we've scored from open play. A win against Reading and a point somewhere else should be enough. Let's hope.
Probably a fair result although I think that there were a couple of dodgy decisions by the ref. There was a definite hand ball in the box in the first half and of course Holt should of been sent off for that challenge on Chico.
Beat Reading and we should, just about, be safe. A point was all I really expected today, although gutted to go ahead and concede. Still, the performance was so, so much better than last week, and if we play like that against Reading, I'll be confident. Oh, and can we play Swansea every week? I know we've dropped points for the first time in the PL, but the games are always so, so good.
Won't argue with that but we could have had a penalty in the first half too which may, or may not, have changed the pattern of the game.
scary to think if games in hand are converted into points, we could be 2 points of the drop, in 16th. Holt is all over the place at the moment, and you have to assume that becchio is no where near the required standard in training to get overlooked so totally. I think we need a good 4 more points before this is a done deal, and i worry that we might not get them with our cautious style. Also, when the hell is ruddy back?
Yes, Swansea play in a way that Norwich like to play against. We always have a chance of getting something from them
We should have won that, Michu should have had a hat trick, missed too many sitters! Why do you buy these horrible players like Holt and Snodgrass? mouthy buggers aren't they, not too mention how dirty they are! Oh well a point is a point, good game otherwise...............
Don't badmouth Snodgrass. He could have gone down in the first half when there was a clear push on him in the penalty area.
Where do you send your players to learn to roll around like they have been shot after a tackle? Tiendalli (think it was him - which is why he was boo'd for the rest of his game) was embarrassing! Got tackled around the ankles but rolled around clutching his bloody knee! I felt there were too many occasions when your players were taking the play-acting a little too far but if the officials are too stupid to fall for it then good luck to you
If you mean that ball that hit ?Turner on the shoulder, that should never be a pen in a million years. If they've started giving those, I honestly don't know what the game is coming to. Agree about Holt, truly filthy and the second time he's come on and put a red card challenge in. Not good. Overall, I'd say a draw is a fair result Kamara should easily have finished that chance and I thought we could have had another, shocked Michu didn't scoreagain, but then his first half goal was such a good finish, I think it made up for it...
Snodgrass is almost as dirty as Holt! Two horrible players, would never want them in our Swansea side....................
No defence of Holt I see ? a game full of should/could haves , a point is good enough for us , maybe not so for you though. After watching Soton V reading I'd be surprised if you didn't get the result against them
Completely disagree, as the commentators and the BBC put it, Norwich are disappointed to draw. I think, given the chances, it was probably a fair result, but if Kamara hadn't dallied and buried that chance it would have been 3-1, game over. As for Snodgrass, that's not fair at all. His card was harsh and nowhere near as bad as, e.g., De Guzman's incredibly cynical, no effort to get the ball tackle. Re Holt, however, I think if you read the thread we are all disappointed with him.
