Read the thread. I think Norwich fans are pretty unanimous in condemning Holt, actually. Which is why it's so ridiculous to try and bring Snodders in. I think we all feel Reading is our best bet, but I'm actually confident of us picking up points against W Brom and Villa too. Villa's result at the Britannia is also encouraging for our game there (thou not for our table position...) We aren't playing well at all (our defending was terrible today), but we are fortunate to have a decent run in.
I must admit, I was wondering why that could not be considered as a red - it was so obvious and 100% cynical that it was scandalous.
Oh, I see, you're a WUM. Shame that even Swans have them. I'd have thought you'd learnt your lesson after Holt bared his fine torso at the Livery last year.
Given his first was a very good finish, I think not. As for your assessment of the ref, that's ridiculous. He's got form for treating us badly and I think, for example, the yellow on Snodders was very harsh. I'm tempted to rely on the objective view of the BBC in the assessment of the game though. Shame on you Swans
I watched Snodgrass playing for Scotland, bloody dirty then too! how many reds has he had this season? they are both players, that wouldn't be seen anywhere near our club! Dirty barstewards the both of them, anyway all the best for the rest of the season...................
They are physical and no-one will deny that but they are not fairies that roll around as if they have been shot, which is why I am guessing they would not fit in too well in the Darkest, deepest south Wales
you certainly are living proof that no matter how well thought of some clubs fans are on here, there is still a lunatic cerebrally challenged minority
You have an odd interpretation of dirty. Both his yellows there were for very poor tackles - I.e. poorly timed, but not at all malicious. Given that's his only red of the season... Take de Guzman's tackle, that was one of the most cynical I've seen this season. And I've never seen players roll around so much playing shot as the Swansea players. Snodgrass, in contrast, was sportsman enough to stay on his feet after that cheap push in the box. I really think you should be ashamed of that - id be horrified if Norwich players tried to con the ref in such an outlandish way. You notice that Norwich fans are ashamed of Holt's tackle?
I wouldn't expect you girls to do anything else but defend the pair, but dirty they are, don't get too touchy over my comments though girls, see you next season......................
So how are you going to defend your players theatrics and cynicism? So far you have not done a very good job of it
In fact, cerebrally challenged was about as perfect as it gets, try reading... No-one's defending Holt.
A point against a team like Swansea and two goals scored is OK by me.I think of the four home games this was potentially the hardest to get anything from.On that basis I am pretty confident of getting four points from the games that are left.39 will do.I am beginning to think that stoke my not get many more points.
Fair enough. If you can ever find the words to explain your players misgivings, we will be here to read them
Neither side deserved to win that. Norwich were crap and we were crap because we couldn't beat you. I think that sums it up
Hang on, Grant Holt's 'tackle' aside which nobody here is trying to defend, Swansea comitted 16 fouls today compared to Norwich's 8. Who have the dirtier side?
