If results go out way on Monday we could be mathematically safe.
That's if we win and two from Derby, Luton and Cardiff fail to win

Well this game started badly for me! My lap-top decided, for some unknown reason, that Pompey FC was an unsafe site and would not therefore let me watch on Pompey+.
In retrospect it may have been fortuitous. With me unable to watch Pompey were bound to have one of their best performances of the season!
I was reduced to watching the highlights on Utube and, with eight goals there was a bit to watch!
I was pleased for Bishop. All his goals had different merits. The first was the best, diving to get his head to the ball and putting it back across goal to just go inside the post.
Given last weeks miss the penalty was a pressure kick. I have long thought that the penalty hit straight at the goal keeper is a good one. The keeper almost always dives before the kick to one side or the other and there is little chance of putting the ball wide.
And for his third he was in the right position to accept Murphy's flicked pass.
He also had a hand in Richie's goal by dragging defenders with him as he attacked the near post so leaving space beyond his position. He has been doing this ever since he returned to the side.
One more win and I think we have made it. Three more wins and we will be wondering what all the fuss was about!!!

I watched the game while working from home, though being at work technically I didn't see every goal go in (got to at least pretend to work) but talk about a crazy result. It's funny you see on twitter people complaining about Colby being a league one striker (especially after the penalty miss against Derby, and previously) then he goes and scored a hat-trick. People on social media can have such short term thinking.

On another note, according to my Facebook memories, 12 years ago today we played our first match after being taken over the the pst (or being the assent for the pst to take over). It was a 3-0 win over Sheffield United and was a party atmosphere despite already being relegated

It was optional and I get TOIL which I'm taking off in a few weeks.

But yes, my bosses should be ashamed because they're outsourcing my job to India, but that's a whole other story
