I think the lessons to be learned rest with your own interpretations of ITFC.

You're not actually debating with me because you cannot cope.

    Let me try again:

You'll have to point out where anyone said we were Barcelona, because I simply don't remember saying anything like that and I've not read any of us saying that...

Are you inventing stuff again westy?

I'm not debating with you because you are a ***** idiot. There we go, you got your bite and Welly boy you are spot on what an absolute waste of space Carra is.

Rob, a lot of your lot seem to find it funny the style we play - as if you play the sexiest brand of football ever invented. For the first leg, and half of the second you sure did your share of hoof ball. Don't even pretend you didn't.

The poster on the previous page was spot on. I really hope Boro smash you - however, I think you will win to be honest. Gut feeling.

Yeah, so westy.... I'll try one last time mate.

Please point to where any Norwich fan said we played "the sexiest brand of football".

You can't. Because no-one did. I don't know why you've got so worked up about this. No Norwich fan is claiming we play a fantastic brand of football. I really don't understand why you keep suggesting we do when I've now pointed out four times that you're putting words in our mouths.

The only thing people are saying is that Ipswich's style is not good to watch. The idea that this has any reflection or makes any comment on how Norwich play is all in your head.

I think the point is you lot didn't finish a million miles above us so to make out there is a such a gulf in quality between the two teams is delusional.

Don't get me wrong, I do think Norwich has more quality right now and so you should with your premiership money and squad. Really, promotion should've been achieved already. Better hope you turn up for the final or this really will be failure.

    No? O.K. then.
For my part I do think we have the better players and overall the better squad. We have the parachute money and so on paper should do better like Cardiff and Fulham did ( but of course didn't). What I will say is that in McCarthy you have one of the best managers in the league and he has promoted your team from what should have been looking at the bottom six into one that made the play-offs and so get nearer to what we achieved. He is the main difference in the equation although what Alex Neil has achieved since his arrival has been excellent.

Yeah, agree with everything you say there. Cardiff and Fulham had a disaster really and what the **** happened to Wigan? Alex Neil has done absolutely fantastic since he arrived. Just a shame you didn't have him from the beginning but understand Neil Adams deserved a chance.

If I come across s****y in other posts it's because people like Carrabuh have no balance in their opinions and clearly base them on childish rivalry. Banter's great when there's a bit humour in it but maybe he has other issues?

I can assure you castro the rivalry is some distance behind your brand of football as a means to write derogatory comments about your club. Your comments about your own side are so very unbalanced because we didn't smash you in all four games constitutes a small gap between the clubs. You have to be considerably better to beat a side 3 times out of four and also remain unbeaten.

We were well above you in every department be it effort, composure, intelligence, ability, organisation, mental strength and stamina. Every box ticked in our favour, even the stuff you are supposed to be good at.

I'm afraid all the "issues" are on the doorstep of Portman Road.

    Ok I'll try once more....

Whether I'm right or wrong, I think my opinions are fairly balanced. I've also said nice things about Norwich and acknowledged where Ipswich has weaknesses. The gap I'm referring to is the table after 46 games not the 4 games we played.

Unless you can give us some credit for our improvement and stability over the past 2 years then I can't take your comments seriously.

I'm not interested in your own opinions about Norwich because I cannot even trust those of your own club. You talk of weaknesses as if they are a bit part to the team. Your clubs whole playing concept is wrong. All limited teams have a tendency to hit long balls, mostly when under pressure. Your team does it all the time and do not try and say otherwise, nobody will believe you (certainly on here)

With regards to the difference over the season, considering we had a manager who did not know what he was doing for half a season, to finish ahead of you like we did puts emphasis on the diffrence there was. We are not brilliant, but you do not understand how much easier it is to have instant success playing percentage football. The trouble is you will not be able to build on it. I will be amazed if you are anywhere near the play offs next year, you will probably be in a struggle near the bottom as your one hit wonder tactic gets found out.

I expect McCarthy will be gone in 2017. Your fans will be sick of the site of him and his product as many have been this season.

Well who knows, maybe we'll amaze you next season, maybe not. Whatever will be will be. I will say that playing constant hoof ball for 90 mins for 46 games doesn't end in a top 6 finish though.
