How odd - Why would a City fan claim to be a binner? Mind you, there are some odd people in cyber space. oh, and welcome back Welly. Knew you would not be able to keep away
Wallybrain who used to post on the old BBC606 site is a well known and well respected Norwich poster who contributes on TWTD time to time!
On the subject of 'visitors'...... I wanted to talk with some Motherwell fans to ask a few questions about their town, so the obvious place to go is their forum. Filled in my details and to 'prove' I was a Motherwell fan I had to answer a question. The question was - who is the current Motherwell manager. Looked it up on the Motherwell website, typed it in, and it was wrong! Never did get access
Call me cynical but is Warky flying off to a land without internet the day of the East Anglian derby?. Surely no coincidence that he's going to vanish after another humiliation . Also was that a dig by Welly about me being born in Colchester so I'm a plastic Norwich fan.? Nice try but he lives in Northampton and I don't think any of our binner friends actually live in Ipswich or ever have. I don't read McArtney's interviews or give a **** what he says, I was unaware that Ipswich have their own forums and really don't give a **** what they post about. I imagine it would be biased in some way towards their target audience . Copy and pasting this crap then faking outrage or calling these people arrogant is just plain weird. Unheathy fixation springs to mind.
But despite all your denials of being a plastic, you were born in Colchester (probably a mate of Mikes), I,as you say, live in Northampton, but was born in Elm St. Ipswich, a spit away from Portman Rd and in the shadow of the North Stand.
The thing that Welly posted calling us arrogant, is like a vegetarian reading comments from a beefburger forum and complaining about the glorification of killing animals for meat.
From the age up to 5 I didn't get to many games or even watch Colchester on TV in my local boozer. I moved to Norfolk at 6 and the reason I support Norwich is a few of the 85 cup winning team came to my school with the EDP and gave us a load of replica kits for our school team. I had no idea who they were but played as a 9 year old in full kit for Banham Primary FC. One of the kids dad's was worked for or owned Poll & Withey windows. I am sitting about 500 metres from the Emirates right now so to Glory hunt Norwich is quite an acheivement .
Elm Street? I understand the fear of Bournemouth now it's those stripy black and red tops , supporting Ipswich must be a nightmare. please log in to view this image
