I would heartily recommend that you start planning for relegation now.

I don't mean to ruffle any feathers but you're quite clearly rubbish

    Palace <laugh>

More of the same here, from some doombat called Ged Steroo :-

"Happy with a defeat to a poor Championship team? Lambert needs to wake up and smell the coffee. It's all very well wasting most of preseason playing park teams, does he even know we are playing in the Premier League next season??!! You wouldn't think so looking at the signings made so far, we need some Prem experience and we need it fast!!"

Christ, some people don't live in the real world <doh>

You might be right BUT Palace (as crap as they are) are the biggest bogey team in the history of Norwich City (Even we beat Coventry at home when we couldn't beat them away) so we do not get too upset about yet another defeat to them, especially at Selhurst <ok>

Fair point, we've got Watford as ours.

Cromer, that jackass Ged Steroo is on the Green 'Un as well. I think he's been dropped on his head at some point.

I was at the game last night with my two kids, we were brilliant in at times moving the ball about and De Laet was fantastic. He mopped up everything and made it look easy. Very good signing. The whole team was changed after the break and Palace scored on one of a handful of chances. The only worrying thing is, we are crap at corners and never look like scoring from them,:smiley-finger007:apart from that a good run out for the boys.Got a nice pic of Hoolahan with my children and Zak too. Thats the good thing about pre season, the players make an effort to talk to the next generation of Canaries..OTBC

Tbh though super, we are never good at scoring from corners. I've read that de laet looked good last night. Thing is, they just managed to score past our reserve side. What are the chances of Martin Jackson and holt lining up in the same side in the league, not much. It's all about just getting fitness levels raised and the boss to mess around with.lineups and tactics. We proberbly won't see a line up like the one that will face wigan until parma/zaragoza games...

At the end of the day it was a good run out for the lads and as you say a loss will poberbly fo just as much good.

Also super, how did wilbs do last night? I've been reading that he seems to have improved since we last saw him!?

It's pathetic (understatement). As a rule I do not trawl the entire web to read all things Norwich so normally miss this kind of bollocks! Just as well as it makes my blood boil

Last night was all about combinations. I doubt very much that the 11 who will play against Wigan were ever on the pitch together last night.

Paul Lambert will have learnt some things last night. He would have seen some combinations that did not concede, one that did. He would have seen combinations that looked like they might score and some that didn't.

Pre season is all about finding which players perform best in which positions/roles and who to put around them to bring the best out of them. It is all about combinations, Formations and gaining fitness. All of those objectives were acheived last night and nothing else matters at all.
