Agree, a real battle for Williams to get that spot back. McGuane also doesn’t get booked as frequently as Joe. A lot on here criticise Anis, which I get as he’s extremely frustrating at times, but, he’s the only one of our forward players that I think defenders hate to play against. He has tricks, he can shoot and he puts defenders on their heels, we don’t have anyone else who can do that. I think in time Yu will as well.
Memheti is improving all the time. His erratic taking on players to turn and take them on again is being coached out of him. He’s also starting to get better on defensive duties. He is frustrating at times but at 23 he will get better.
Great effort and result. Well done Liam and the lads Here is the Sky report and highlights… https://www.skysports.com/football/...core-as-canaries-long-unbeaten-home-run-ended
Just back from Badger Ales day at Wincanton and, must be my age, but didn't see our result till just now. Bloody brilliant.
The game was on DAZN over here and that allowed me to have a late wake-up to watch the match after the game was done. I had a brilliant breakfast and enjoyed the game as it was one of the best in some time and shows what we are capable of achieving when we are up to it and the 0-2 result was just what we wanted after the disappointment of the Sheff Utd loss. Today was one of the best games for Mehmeti and he has certainly earned a break from my naughty step because today I couldn't help but see more in him than I have done previously. His participation in most plays was evident and I think if he can build a rapport with some other forward players he could turn out way better than I anticipated a few short months ago. A thoroughly competent game for the boys today and one of the things that shone through for me was that they all looked like they were enjoying their trip to Norwich and the result has to boost their confidence. There is only one negative for me is why the hell can't we build on our special way form and get more points on our home turf? Looking at the table makes you see why with a win vs Sheff Utd and a few more home wins could have put us in prime position heading towards the end of the year, but I will take what we earned today and move on. Well done to City and all of you away supporters for an enjoyable day and be safe on your individual drives homeward.
