Against Swansea I voiced concern about not playing well in the first half (we did). In the Rotherham game I didn't mention that but did mention that we never spank teams at the bottom, we were not good in the first half but then delivered a nice hiding in the second half. I think I've cracked the formula, I need to cover both bases.

We need to improve how we play in the first half, it's worrying that we rely on a good second half to get out of trouble. I'm also concerned that we never truly punish teams at the foot of the table and that could be our undoing.

Sorted it properly this time.

 

Probably because the opposition can see the gulf between us and them points-wise and so set out to thwart us playing the preferred normal attacking game.
Or 'parking the bus' as it's sometimes called.
Though one of Duncan's notorious 1 - 0 gains you as many points as a 7 - 0, so not the most crucial issue DF has.

 

For all those lambasting Farke for not giving Pukki a break , apparently his assistant wrote 22 and the ref team thought it was 12 and Lewis went off by mistake .

 

I saw Lewis go off, then come back on, then have to go off again!

I wondered what was going on!

I am actually going to this game! My first game since about 2013 where we lost to someone like Fulham 1-2 with an awful Bassong backpass which helped the visitors on their way.

Anyway I flew back to England yesterday and it will also be my wife's first ever competitive game.... so I bloody hope Norwich win!
