I haven't really read any comments further than this one, I don't mean any disrespect on that. But thought never would be the one Id respond to, i don't think I will be back unless there is a fundamental change in attitudes here. I left this site originally because of the downright scummy comments surrounding Gary Speed, Mick the owner of this site would not reign in the pond life who live on the general forum, so I left. This had nothing to do with any fan on here. Now we come here to the reason I've had a tit full here, this is a football forum first despite the other sports covered, we found a good home away from the BBC. ( Little did we know it was already occupied by pond life **** heads! ) It's a good forum and I did enjoy the banter here and was with some virtual mates. So we come to the crux of the matter, there are some here who's soul reason for being here appears to abuse a certain poster on here, there is a concerted effort to abuse him, and ridicule him for having an opinion that doesn't fit in! There is also efforts to undermine anyone who backs his right to post. I basically don't care about those efforts to be honest as I won't be intimidated by such crap. So the reason I've decided to leave is because of Swans fans on here, these swans fans are driving fellow swans fans away from here. Now you try and figure that our? I won't be back unless people stop acting like little kids. We should be enjoying ourselves, in our second season in the premier league, with a third almost guaranteed, and a major cup final to come next week, and possibly a European cup run next. But we are not, we are fighting here. It's sad that I cannot now discuss the game I love with the supporters of my club because of them. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the season and beyond. Try my view, read the threads you want to read, if you feel the need to add something to it then add. Don't post for the sake of posting and don't read the articles that don't interest you. I thoroughly enjoy my experience on here and don't really witness much of the infighting as its mostly on threads I never bother to read (or I stop reading after they get derailed). Honestly, try it, it's very relaxing All the best Norway and others
Swans-m that was my attitude too but once thread after thread gets derailed it gets tedious. Let's hope the pissing contests end soon before there's no-one left to give a ****.
The board seems to have gone all serious and well-behaved since Norway resigned. You can stay after all NJ, your action's had the desired effect
I think I'll have a holiday too while we are all at it! Must admit I don't post much these days anyway, bit of a job trying to find the footy subjects! Maybe some now realise why I always defended the right of all on the old BBC 606 to post their views regardless!............. PS: Sorry just found out, I've used up all my holiday leave!.........................
