Never too young mate, all you have to do is listen to them now. Some good tunes out there, I wasn't a big lover of it but since I've been going to a soul pub before lockdown it's interested me.
At the other end of the scale, I was in my fifties before I became interested in Northern Soul. Posted about it last night.

i do exactly the same mate, there is a certain type of song i like and there are quite a few so called Northern soul songs i don't like , i prefer the motown type beat.
During the 60's and 70's I was mainly in to Folk music, I used to listen to other stuff but my interest was Folk. Now I am into most music and have some catching up to do during my retirement
ok guys as there is so much really great old soul songs,that the younger generation never heard its time to widen the horizons into great music that never ages
