But it doesn't matter because most of those Catholics are Unionist now, and the Catholic Unionists are basically like Loyalists, who wouldn't do anything bad towards the Union, like take Union flags down from Belfast City Hall. I think that's the general gist of this thread anyhow
The stupid thing is that if you didn't know the difference between the catholic chuirch and the proddie church and went to standard services you'd think they were pretty much exactly the same. Have to agree with Mick as well - the day you worry if your kids names are going to get your house blown up by knuckle dragging **** wits ids the day you have to question your santiy. Before Medro and co start i am utterly convinced that there are republicans who act in the same way so this is not a dig at the prods <OK>
This is undoubtedly a huge blow to the Sectarian headcounters but it is a little more complex than that. One need only look at the riots of this week and the massive parade in September by bigots like Nick Griffin and Paddy Med Dog to see just how much they hate the idea of bringing democracy to the region.
It's the lashing out of an animal that knows its cornered and its days are numbered ...... all figuratively speaking of course
It'll be a long decade for the Williams no doubt as they take to the streets as Britishness is stripped from Belfast. Once a Nationalist majority takes Belfast next time out maybe City Hall will have the worlds biggest skip outside it. The flag is a taster. Use the majority to green the 6 counties over the next two decades whilst Britain funds it.
You are right. We should forget about this flag nonsense and adopt a new flag that reflects both traditions on the island and the peace that unites the two.
Gold? Don't you mean orange. What would be the point in having a flag for an island with 2 different countries in it. Pointless.
