    Every competition is different. See Dortmund, Marseilles for example. I don't see how Carling Cup and FA Cup have any relevance

    He didn't mention anything about which competitions City had experienced their blip in, only that they'd had one.
    They lost games against Premier League sides.
    It's clearly relevant.
