You judge me too harshly HIAG. If Spurs do win the league this season it will be a great achievement based on their own merit. If they don't then they can say that they've given it their best shot in over 50 years. Regarding your post though, I don't think I've seen anybody predict that Spurs will win it.
Not on this thread, admittedly, Pix. But I'm sure a couple of non-Spurs fans have stated that they think we'll do it, this season. I don't recall any Spurs fans saying that, however.
There was an interesting analysis on 5 Live tonight about Spurs' chances. They were saying that Spurs have gone under the radar a bit so far this season and like Leicester, have played without any pressure because there has been no expectation. But that now they have a chance to win it, the spotlight will be on them and with it the pressure will be ramped up. They also highlighted the fact that Spurs have struggled when they've had to juggle Thursday night Europey football and Sunday games. Spurs have had a great few months, but the sharp end of the season is coming into focus now and the games will come thick and fast.
You all seem to be overlooking the fact that United are still a key player in the title race. All 4 contenders have to play us and as the title could be decided on goal difference the size of the defeat we suffer in each game could be decisive.
I'm hoping we batter you on the 28th, which will lead to LVG being sacked and Mourinho coming in. Thereby installing a mini revival when you play Spurs and Leicester, only for the honeymoon period to crumble and Utd finish the season tumbling down the league again.
"Massive game, can't be overstated. Usually the NLD Library leg is our shoo in for 3 points and guaranteed bragging rights until we lose the WHL leg or win the PL 4th place Cup." <fixed>
Mourinho wouldn't dare join United until the summer. There's too much crap to be cleared up between now and the end of the season. That's Giggsy's job!
He's guilty by association in the eyes of some. Personally I think we'd be in even more of a mess if he wasn't there to provide some kind of a link between the management and the players. Plus he's servicing Mrs LVG so she's in a good mood and isn't giving her husband any grief which allows him to focus on practising his excuses.
JT's looking for a new club. He'd take on the job of shagging anybody's missus, if needs be. Well, even if he wasn't asked, I expect.
well, all I can say is that Giggs must be dedicated and loyal to Utd to be made to fulfil this part of his job role please log in to view this image
They say people are attracted to those who are of similar 'attractiveness', this theory is confirmed by LVG's missus being a minger.
He was a crap player so he made his money later in life as a manager, hence the hummer wife. Check out Mrs Mourinho. In contrast check out Adam Johnson's missus. She is sticking by the scrawny, multi millionaire *****.
