Breaking North Ferriby United F.C news- We have had confirmation direct from the Evostik league headquarters that the owner's, and the owner who is not really the owner, proposed ground relocation to Dunswell and name change to East Hull have been formally rejected. In a short statement to this station the league told us - "The matter of the relocation, which is solely a decision for the Northern Premier League was considered at length at a meeting held on the 12th December and ultimately the request was refused. As a stakeholder, the NPL had been asked by The Football Association for its views on the proposed name change. The LMC determined it could not support the application being considered by The FA. This was advised to all parties in writing on 19th December 2018. The decision of the LMC is now subject to appeal to The Football Association." Our view is both these proposals are now almost certainly dead in water. The F.A. council, as they did with the ill fated name change shenanigans at Hull City, will take their lead from the relevant officiating league body and stakeholders. To this end the glaring question is, if the club owners knew about the rejection, why has no formal club announcement been made? What else is going on at the club? View from the Allotment End
Jamie Waltham is clearly a slippery ****, and is possibly related to the Allam’s. Personally I’d love to see both **** off for good.
Great news that it has been rejected, it's seems that this philosophy that the Allam family say they have that they would make sure that they hand over to a good pair of hands didn't happen in Ferriby's case.
I don't think there's a link between them. This area just attracts mad football club owners it seems. The daftest thing is that the only time Waltham had success was by harnessing the amount of apathy and disillusion with City under the Allams. He gave people a welcoming alternative. Hull United wasn't popular because of Dene Park ffs. But for some reason he's forgotten how he got that success and just become fixated on Dene Park. In the process becoming very much like the Allams.
I don’t think he’s fixated on Dene Park at all, I just think he’s a **** that see £££ signs at the potential of building on Church Road. Ergo he’s another ****ing parasite, which is clearly why I suggested that he is possibly related to the Allam’s.
He seems convinced that having a team at Dene Park will be successful. Reality is almost no one would support a brand new team playing there if it's been moved from NFU.
Which makes him an even bigger **** in my eyes. North Ferriby United FC belongs in North Ferriby, he doesn’t and he should simply gtf.
Are the owners, I'm including Waltham in this, killing the club on purpose? ****ing ****s if they are.
Who knows, but they are either off their heads for taking on a club like this if they are unable to financially back it up in its present situation, or completely stupid if they thought their plan of changing the name and moving it would succeed.
Poor North Ferriby This season they have no chance of staying up...just 186 at Ferriby 1 Basford 2 yesterday .☹️
Be interesting to see what the small amount of fans they have would rather see... A name/ground/identity change or going out of business and folding
Interesting question. Might be better to ask an AFC Wimbledon fan though. On the other hand, if we had liquidated in 2010, I would still be passionately supporting my local team in the ground on matchdays, and we would probably be getting 20k+ crowds in the lower divisions. Call me selfish, but with hindsight I know what my choice would be now.
