http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/SALE...inal-winners/story-26339932-detail/story.html So it begins, the Allams prepare to move out of football totally. Sell us and at the same time sell the villagers. Our time to relax and enjoy City again is almost upon us!
That HDM site is atrocious. How are you supposed to read articles when adverts pop up all over the place?
I was thinking the same thing, if you try and access on the mobile version it's all adverts and it barely works.
Talking about adverts, have you guys got the one for "My Cane"? I have got that fed up with it popping up every 5 minutes I swap channels for a minute.
Good for them. They turned it around, gave them a fab day at Wembley that will never be forgotten, know that to move to the next level will take commitment and resources they don't have or don't want to commit (what's that saying, how do you become a millionaire owner of a football club? Start as a billionaire - something like that). Its ideal for someone wanting to take a club with a solid base upwards.
It's a massively overachieving village team, it's unlikely it's going to be able to progress beyond where it is now.
Unless I am mistaken, the ground is pretty small and cannot be significantly increased. Therefore, what is the point in buying this club if it has limitations like that in place?
A fans takeover would be the safest bet, they can't expand the ground at any side, although they were going to construct a temporary stand next to the food hut if they got promoted.
The ground is small with zero scope for expansion. They were promised a new ground as part of the original plans to develop the Cappa Pass site, but revised plans blew that out of the water. Technically the Conference North is a high as they can go at the present site & I believe the restrictions for use would make it unattractive to a buyer for deveopment
We could be Hull City North Ferriby Tigers. I have can never get my head around how Allam says he wants a shorter name than Hull City and then calls them Hull Tigers. 2 MORE letters in that name toadface
With the confusing name change and his advancing years did he just forget which club he was going to sell immediately? Should we tell him ? http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/SALE...inal-winners/story-26339932-detail/story.html
Capper Pass huh? I suppose the revised plans were due to the ambient radiation levels not quite being sufficient to power floodlights.
Site decontaminated & now revised plans are for residential rather than the original light industrial use.....hence no football ground
