Breezy, change the record, boring now.

 

Laudrup is a good manager but he needs time to adapt to British football. I have every confidence that Jenkins and the board will give him enough time, to be honest I'm more worried that if he is too successful he's going to get poached like Rodgers and we will be back to square one. A finish between 11th and 17th for the next couple of seasons is what we should be aiming for, to give the club time to build up the academy and the training facilities and expand the stadium capacity in a stable atmosphere with the same manager and not too many changes in the squad. All the time we are picking up supporters and increasing our profile internationally which will give us strength in the long term.

 

I'd like to know who's hounding Dai ?

Also, yes is a good thread about Saturdays game.

Well clearly Daiswan has an issue with certain posters on here ( Dilligafuffs & such ) , better take the blinders off !

 

You're the only one with a problem Breezy, I have no problem with Dai and he has no problem with me. It's just you and your vendetta against the mods

If Dai had a problem with me I can assure you he would tell me, there's no doubt about that. Other people are giving him stick because of what was aired on Friday night on tv. That's up to them and Dai and I've only got involved on here because of the rubbish you are spouting.

 

That's the point , you should have got involved earlier & I wouldn't have posted at all ..... you got involved quick enough to delete Daiswans " Liverpool " thread on the Swan board for not being about the Swans . But here you not only ignore the fact that posters are running Daiswan into the ground on his " Swansea " article about " Liverpool " ... you jump right in with them ..... you are digging yourself a hole , nobody needs to help

 

I don’t think its a ‘return to the football.....’ Dai. I see it more as our team jelling together more.

Admittedly we were awful against Everton and deserved everything we got but, for me, that was the only game where we appeared clueless.

Sunderland game we should have won, Villa we were ok, got the ball down and passed reasonably well but our fluency was lacking. I put this down to our team being in the process of jelling and this will take a little time.

Stoke, we coulda shoulda done better but our confidence was well low by that game and it showed.

The passing game we’ve always played still remains. Because of our style it invariably takes new players longer to bed into our systems than it would if we played like Stoke.

It is difficult for an individual player to assimilate our patterns of play but, with so many new faces, players and back-office, it is inevitable that the process will take a little time.

Happily we saw substance in our game Saturday, and some fight too. I know how I felt when we went 2 down, I barely coped, so I take great comfort from seeing that our players, didn't panic, like I did, carried on with their stylish play and fought for a result. I think their response was incredibly courageous and I look forward to our continued improvement.

Breezy your attitude is trivializing your rep buddy and its time for you to begin posting on all and anything SWANSEA CITY AFC again. The fact is no one cares about your stickies or your hang ups so there's little point in continuing with them; unless, of course, you want to completely demolish a once decent reputation.

Breezy, I'm not for the mods or against them. Sometimes they get it right, sometimes they don't but I know one thing. It's a difficult job which they give their time to do on our behalf. They can't please everyone. If they delete, someone gets upset; if they don't delete, someone else gets upset. They can't win and I think they should be cut some slack. But that's my opinion and I know others will differ. For me, I'm just grateful that someone is doing it.

Most of us have had an issue with Dai at some point or another; let's face it it, some of his posts do provoke an adverse reaction. But I enjoy his input in the main and regard him as a good contributor to the board as I do you. The board needs you people and I think that sometimes one has to bite the bullet about what has been posted. It's called toleration and sometimes it's not an easy thing to practise.

Just as well that I'm not a mod because one thing is for sure, I would NOT tolerate any name calling, disrespect, or insulting comments of any description. Banter is one thing but disrespect is never called for. We are surely grown up enough to be able to exchange opinion without resorting to the playground. Just my thoughts.

I said recently that we would not accept any more bullshit on this site, and that still stands. So far, nobody has insuted Dai, but if he felt he was insulted by a post, all he has to do is say. I fully respect the guy and don't want him insulted on my patch, but I nor Dill or Mabon can delete EVERY post.

So please Breezy, stop with the vendetta.

 

You can all walk past what happened to Casual , I can't do it...... It was a travesty that needs to be reversed whether anyone deems it as " Important " ... Modding is a difficult job but it's no excuse for the abuse shown by the people in charge . Let Casual's voice be included , as was , or be part of the injustice , I know I can't & won't be part . I just came on this thread to have a go at the abusers toward Daiswan because our mods can't grasp the concept of abuse or won't discipline , their backers regardless of what they do or say ... it's sickening !! . Maybe time to close this one and you all can move on

Do not tell me to **** off. I will back dilligaf all the way. While a site ban was maybe harsh, the supermod made that decision based on what he posted on the toon board. Dilli had no say in that, so if you have an issue, speak with brb and get off that high horse of yours.
