Just loving the Championship in general at the moment. It seems that as soon as anyone gets to the top they decide to let someone else have a go. So far Blackpool, Blackburn, Brighton, Cardiff, Leicester and now Palace have all been at the top in the space of just 15 games.
Still more possession than they had at Peterborough last season though

Just had a look at the stats on the BBC website
Palace had just 6 shots on target, and assuming penalties count in that number, scoring 5 was a pretty good return!

The other penalty was saved. Well, when I say saved, by all accounts the shot was straight at the keeper.
for some reason, that i don't understand, the beeb stats are ALWAYS wrong. they seem to be watching different matches to most, but it seems that strangely, they do not count penalties as shots at goal. i know this because there was a game earlier in the season where two penalties were scored yet only one shot on target was registered during the 90 minutes! if stats are your bag then i suggest ignoring the beeb stats and go straight to opta...
