I'm more or less the same as you, though I stopped watching MOTD as can't stand Lineker, so just watch MOTD2 to see Saturday goals and Sunday games. Rarely watch European games.
I always record it and fast forward through the obvious chat If the Premier League clubs give the ESL a miss people may prefer to watch the PL rather than the ESL the ESL would destroy the national leagues if the top teams played reserves
