Yep, they werent a great watch last season - no patterns of play in or out of possession, they just won by having better than most of the teams Think theyve scored 2 in 6 games, drew one and lost the rest - Falkirk knocked them out the league cup
Lovely team goal from AC Milan last night https://twitter.com/footballontnt/status/1829978898290929705?s=12
Como for me. Had them to draw, losing 1-0. Get a penalty 95th minute and Cuttrone misses the target. Nobody will ever convince me there’s a reason a professional footballer, who’s also a striker, shouldn’t hit the target with every penalty he takes
Part of the problem was Ed Woodward as CEO. He made signings for commercial reasons, like resigning Ronaldo for example, not for actual team development. And when it came down to it, that became the priority over properly supporting the manager, which resulted in clashes between board and manager. It's meant they've lost their way and there's no easy fix. They either need a clear out and to start fresh with young, hungry players or identify higher calibre players they can bring in and build into a team. But either way the coach needs to be backed over years.
Jim Ratcliffe should offer Simeone his own bespoke super yacht and private island in the Bahamas to take over at United, he's just about the only coach who could drag them back to the top.
Catching up on the PL highlights Cracking goal from Eze against Chelsea Very surprised he wasn’t sold in the summer. Class player
Look at Utd and just wonder why they were not all over Eze, McAllister (before Liverpool), Toney. Not convinced on Hojland or Zirksee as their main forward.
