It wasn’t a panenka. Keeper dives it just looks like a Pen down the middle. I reckon if a keeper stands still he saves more penalties personally. They’ve obviously done their homework. I’ll not be interested in this any more personally

I agree mate. However, I'll never understand why a professional footballer feels the needs to risk a miss (save) like that on the off chance it goes in and the player can be creamed over a bit more. It’s not really the off chance is what I’m saying. The off chance is the keeper stands still. How many pens get smashed down the middle? Loads I reckon. When I coached kids, I told the keeper to stand still middle of goal for pens. We conceded 3 goals and he saved 6 out of 9 against us that season.
Good from a scheduling perspective, but another nail in the coffin of what was once the greatest tournament in football. The romance of the cup, the ability for small clubs to earn a payday at Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge by taking teams to a replay - it's a shame to lose that, but I guess everything has to move with the times
