The good news for both teams is that a good transfer window and you can win the league by a 10 point margin.
Suppose that is what makes it such a poor league. I get that the prem is monopolised by a small number of teams and that an occasional outlier (Leicester) might have a chance. But Scotland is literally 2 clubs. The remainder would struggle to stay in league one! Some might even struggle in league 2. And I honestly think that Celtic and Rangers would be bang average championship teams.
I don't disagree with your assessment of their quality, but would quibble with the "poor" as subjective, maybe because our Premier League has made me a bit cynical in recent years. Man City are just about as boring as it gets for me, even when they win by 4 or 5 goals, the banal predictability of the whole thing turns me off. Give me a AFCON 5-5 between Gambia and Burundi any day over Man City 2-0 Brentford or something like that.
I'll be pissed off if Southgate picks Rashford. Up top we've got Kane, Saka, Palmer, Foden, Bellingham and dare i say, Gordon, who on current form, are all better options than him.
I don’t think it's a joke. The players he has picked aren't the message. The players he has left out are. Although he screwed up picking Palmer.
White has ruled himself out of any England selections so that rules him out. We also have one of the best Right backs in the world in Kyle Walker so theres no way he should ever be dropped. Theres no way Gordon should come in for Saka aswell. I like Gordon and hope he travels but he's no where near the player Saka is at the moment
What do the two/three names you two have mentioned that it is strange he has left them out have in common?
