20 clubs in the PL, 7 dont block the ban and 13 (presumably) do block it. Unless my maths is out then the 7 lose?
Saudis bought several off signing their players for silly fees. e.g. Wolves. Clubs not owned by them need to tell the EPL to stick their league up their arse and start afresh without them. I've no interest in promotion to that league.
looks to me that the cash has spoken again, beating common sense into 2nd place...basically, those not saudi owned/connected will regret missing the chance to block this as players will be 'loaned' in the summer then again in the winter depending on which teams need which type of player, the rest may as well say goodbye to any decent players as they will all be taken away and 'the gap' will be just too big.
Shame that Euro super League hadn't got the go ahead imo, it might just have given us back our own domestic game, that has gradually been sold to the devil.
Seen that earlier. There's another clip of Martinez the Villa keeper getting involved trying to stop the coppers hitting the fans. Almost as mad as the clips I've seen of the new president of Argentina, box of frogs doesn't even come close to describe that fella
Yeah - I was watching some of it last night, the Argentinian players went into the stands to calm things down, it looked like there was no segregation or the Argie fans bought tickets in the home end. The game was delayed because of the crowd trouble and one stage it looked like it could be called off. Their new president is a complete box of frogs - the country is in for a rough ride, they already have inflation at 150% this year. He's also talking about reclaiming Las Malvinas - could get very messy.
I saw a video of him in an open top vehicle wielding a chainsaw and the crowd were loving it! That's the crazy new president, not the Villa keeper btw.
