Do the managers and coaches get a ban after 5 yellows? Been loads dished out so far this season.

 

Can’t work out how a defender can pull and pull at a forward, 5 or 6 times, 3 yards from the linesman. And as soon as the forward does exactly the same, it’s a free kick to the defender! Obviously I’m talking when a spurs player pulls the shirt first! Probably be a spurs free kick at the other end

I gave up a while ago trying to understand any rules these days, not just handball. They make it up on the fly.

On another note Chelsea absolutely played a full strength Liverpool off the park and were unlucky to not take all 3 points. This is before fixture congestion plays its part and before they’ve even replaced the midfielders they’ve sold.

Everyone has laughed at me when I said Chelsea will push City all the way this season and be their closest competitor and I can’t wait it for to unfold

well those two premier games did nowt to make me happy about the new rules, was convinced i read that offside now is only with space between attacker/defender (or was it just suggested) and hand balls were to be much clearer.

for all the technology is in use i think 'common sense' needs to rule here...did the attacker gain an advantage by standing offside or did a defender use his hands to gain control of, or deflect it's course on purpose, plain and simple and yes there will be mistakes but unless technology is used to stamp out cheating it is pointless imho.

 

It needs sacking off ASAP mate. Just let the ref and lino decide and let's all go back to debating the decisions in the pub after the game. Much more fun.

Yep. And that's main point, why refer something from one incompetent twat to another incompetent twat who will chamge the decision because he is incompetent. Just make the decision and let's crack on. (Rightly or Wrongly, football ain't supposed to be perfect.)
