So, High flying already promoted Sheffield United lose to a well respected ex manager that needs to avoid defeat to stay up.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Premier league table looks like a 12 yearold has simmed a season on fifa.
That'll be a Sheffield team with nowt to play for succumbs to a team with something to fight for. Forward to Monday and hope Preston are in the same mindset as the Blades and we achieve our part of the play off plan. We have no control over what happens to Coventry and Millwall.
Wigan are at it again…the football authorities need to shoulder a lot of responsibility for this for letting the takeover happen in the first place
They’ve been a disgrace for a long time but there are never any repercussions. It’s always the fault of the club. Ownership rules need a complete overhaul, and so do the rules around points deductions or fines as there is no consistency. It’s not even that hard to do! A simple list of possible issues and what the outcome will be, no negotiations.
Also failure to pay wages on time on a set number of occasions should allow players or staff to leave if they wish with no repercussions. The club have broken the contract after all.
Has happened time and again. Efl are weak as piss, see Coventry punishment for failing to fulfill multiple fixtures.
I think sometimes managers think it's more important to make a statement and it doesn't really matter what that statement is. Stadium completely flat during the National Anthem, fans and players didn't give a **** in general.
