Thought you lot might have enjoyed that He's been excellent the last two games and scored two great goals last night to win us the game. Longest he's been fit since he joined too. Obviously great news for us but I'm delighted for him on a personal level too. Had such a **** few years and last night must have meant so much to him. He looked delighted when coming over to us at full time. Just hope we're still a bit careful with him, played a lot of minutes in three days and looked ****ed a good while before he came off so think we should start him from the bench Saturday.
He went close on two other occasions as well as being fouled for the pen, which Armstrong blasted over. great to see the old LNG back.
He is.....inevitable. I think he might fancy a new challenge next season though, apparently Barcelona are going all in for him.
Seems like Jobe is not the German media's favourite player. Hope he comes through this and shows them what he can do German Media slam ex-Sunderland star after ‘poor’ Champions League start German news outlet Ran gave the midfielder a 5-match rating, the worst in the Dortmund squad, writing: “Another poor performance from the Englishman, who had few notable ideas with the ball and was repeatedly outplayed defensively. The game was more of a by-product than a significant help. After 69 minutes, his workday was over.” Spox also gave Bellingham the worst rating with a rating of 4: “The new signing celebrated his Champions League debut in the starting eleven, beginning with a misplaced pass after two minutes, which Bilbao failed to capitalize on. Good: Bellingham had won the most ball for Dortmund at halftime (5). “Bad: He also had the third-most turnovers (9, 12 in total). Overall, he needs to put a bit more pressure on the ball carrier and be more dominant in one-on-one duels. His performance was hardly a case for a starting place.”
