I thought Wenger was going to change it to make sure there was daylight but it mustn't have happened.
Wouldn't have mattered mind. Then there would be the argument "is that a bit of daylight"? The thing is that Var does not have the tools to do the job it is asked to do. The cameras aren't quick enough, sharp enough, or plentiful enough. No one really knows when the ball was played, the critical factor in the equation. They can't tell, so they gloss over it. Then, ages after the event, they make a decision, often a guess, based on a couple of 32" screens watched by a couple of blokes a hundred miles away. Awful thing.
The framerate of modern cameras was mentioned when VAR first came in. Its not fast enough and therefore not accurate imo. Tennis and cricket are further ahead with the technology (and common sense)
