Dave Jones enjoyed the Sunderland are still above Man City comment

I'm not sure it matters who is managing Man Utd right now, they're a basket case.

That's been the case, more or less, since Ferguson retired more than a decade ago.

Found both "Super Sunday" games a really hard watch yesterday. Burnely-Livepool was like a L1 game and the first 60 mins of the Manc derby was a snooze-fest.
Man Utd are SO bad. They could be genuine relegation candidates - I cannot see Amorin lasting the month

Being honest, I can't. Not that think it's impossible, but the scale of what would happen would be impossible to really appreciate. Almost off the scale of what we can imagine.

    I remember it well.

They had a good team, some excellent players and started the season well.

But, as now, they'd had a new manager, with some daft ideas, and didn't take the prospect of relegation seriously. All of a sudden things fell apart, other teams picked up unexpected results and time ran out.

It was great to go to Old Trafford with Sunderland ...

... and take them on at Roker Park in the second division, nothing's impossible.

There’s a top 6 team in that United squad, the manager is so far out of his depth I’m surprised he hasn’t imploded.

He doesn’t have the tactical nouse, the personality or the spine to manage United.

He’s offered to walk twice already.

I hope he’s still there when we play them.

Man U are 1 nil down in the last game of the season needing a point to stay up. 337minutes of extra time later and 3 VAR disallowed goals for the opposition later...

Absolutely agree with this! They have some top players. Should’ve signed some defenders with their summer money. I like Amorim, in a way that I’d have a beer with him as I think he’d be good craic.
As a manager, he’s ridiculously poor!!

don’t think he’s actually offering to walk

He’ll be happily pushed tho ££££££

it’s not so much the system it’s his stubbornness and the players he picks on the system

yesterday he had amad at left 10, a left footer and bruno a 10 in central midfield 2. Bruno has to be the 10 and maino in the midfield 2 based on their squad at present.

subbing yoro for magiire and injecting less pace into your back 3 is lunacy
