Embleton is sat on the bench alongside Ethan Robson and Morgan Feeney for Carlisle tonight in the National league. Its really sad how much his career has fallen. He was a big part in us getting back into the Championship
I really think that the injuries he's had have taken more out of him than we realised. Ankle ligaments here and out for 9 months, then going to Derby and rupturing his quadricep during training after only a couple of weeks there. Sad to say but at 26 his best days may have passed with him getting a chance to get to his peak because of them.
Kind of hope West Ham are decent in defeat to emphasise last week. Seeing people say they were **** to downplay our win is annoying, they were decent for long spells.
Pathetic isn't it, they're an established PL side with players like Bowen ... ... Sunderland made them look poor with our energy and tactics. Isn't it amazing how some people just can't bring themselves to give us any credit. We beat them 3-0 and absolutely deserved it. It was the first match of a new season and they were clearly up for it from the start, they just couldn't live with us.
