With the money that's been spent on their squad they should be playoffs at a minimum but I'm not a fan of Edwards tbh He did class to get Luton promoted but I wasn't impressed with him at Watford (basket case of a club I know) and his Luton team last season were like his Watford team in terms of lacking ideas and then him doing nothing to impact it Boro just need a few solid signings to be challenging for the playoffs so they aren't a million miles away
don’t confuse negativity with realism. Optimists and prssimists are as realistic as each other mostly, just that pessimists call optimists unrealistic. When, in truth, both are just giving their opinions based on their outlook. I know which side of the fence I’d rather be on!
Yep, they mostly think that. I do too. They made enough chances, in enough games last season to get top six with a bit to spare I thought. Not sure about Edwards either, though I've a sneaking feeling he might just suit them. He starts with most being underwhelmed by him, so a decent start and you never know. I just wonder how long Gibson will hold the club. He has been there a very long time now, saved the club and lost a lot of money. Maybe he hopes to get up, sell it a decent buyer and get some of his cash back.
It's their defence they need to sort out... need an O9 type and a Ballard. Wonder if they'll make a move for Mephs?
