Lovely ball through to Kane initially, not sure who it was. Need more of that against low block teams.
It's a bit worrying that Burn and Konsa are in serious contention to start for England to be honest. If 1 of them was 4th choice, you'd say we're lacking depth. I can't think of many England squads in the last 30 years where they would get a game.
Burn is absolutely honking. Konsa is better but defo not a top level option as you say. This formation is bizarre. Kane looks ponderous too.
Yet plays every week for a CL side. I don’t like the bloke but know he’s a good player and effective. Would be looked at a lot differently if he wasn’t a Mag.
He shouldn’t be anywhere near England level though. Speaks absolute volumes for how we have stopped producing quality defenders. We’d mop up with Terry & Ferdinand. We are so cagey and creaking at the back the midfield never gets to let loose.
You see the likes of Spain go after these games and score buckets (not specifically Andorra but weaker games) We half arse them. Then we wonder why we never win tourneys and Spain and France do:
