I do hope we’re playing against each other next season but those fixtures will never be the same again.
Ridiculous state of European football competition this year. I guess this is the flipside of teams not dropping in from the Champions League (which I didn't like to be fair). The only plus to this is that losing that final will absolutely **** one of these teams up completely. With Newcastle and Chelsea being in the Champions League next season, I think there would be an argument that Spurs are no longer part of the "big 6" if they don't win this competition.
Qualifying for a competition is nothing like winning it ... ... Newcastle may do the first, won't do the second.
Wouldn't be surprised if they go back to teams dropping into the lower competition. Something like the top 16 going through then maybe the next 8 dropping down instead of playing the 9th-24th playoff games
Be hilarious if both United and Chelsea win European competitions the same season those ****ers petitioned for a national holiday to celebrate their league cup
Why is the BBC reporting scores and fixtures from Saudi Arabia? I believed, from friends, that the BBC is blocked in that country. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/scores-fixtures
Don't really understand why Man Utd got rid of him. He isn't a perfect player by a long stretch but if you get him making late runs into the box he will score goals. 18 league goals between this season and last season, 17 of them coming from inside the box. His physicality helps also. When you're giving serious minutes to Casemiro, Ugarte, Eriksen and Mount surely you'd be better off with McTominay.
Good attitude. Winning the trophy doesn't gloss over a poor season but at the end of the day trophies are the most important thing.
They were saying the other night Conte has basically built the midfield around him with Lobotka and Anguissa allowing him to get further forward. I don’t think United had much of a system for him to play in he seemed to play much deeper than he does now. It was a total ****show of a midfield for years and still is to be fair
