The season when Liverpool nearly won the league, the front 3 of Sterling, Sturridge and Suarez was superb
One of the best ever mate, with Coutinho in the number 10 role. Jürgen Klopp has told Daniel Sturridge he must start to play through the pain barrier to address the problems that have blighted the Liverpool striker's career. The manager said Sturridge needed to learn “what is serious pain or what is only pain”.27 Nov 2015
Suarez was ridiculous in his final season at Liverpool. He played like someone from another planet. One of the best individual seasons from a player the Premiership has ever seen.
They appointed a manager who plays a system completely unsuited to the squad they have, and refuses to budge on his system. Was a baffling appointment, especially as they don't have the cash for a massive overhaul unless they (somehow) sell their players for a **** load.
Man Utd can't escape the Bournemouth press. The 2-4 shape they try and play out with, with one of the CBs joining a midfielder in a pivot, just doesn't work. Way too easy to press.
That was a definite penalty on Maguire like, the first one that is. Defenders get away with absolutely anything in their penalty box on corners these days.
Doesn’t really seem to be anything set in stone around it does there? Total grey area but he’s not trying to play the ball at all surely it’s a foul
Very unlucky but can see the argument for why the slip isn’t relevant seeing it’s the players responsibility to tackle safely and be in control. If he’s slipped he obviously wasn’t Still would have stuck with yellow myself
