Their managerial choices, and recruitment, seem to be decided by the owner who looks slightly deranged. You get the impression Walters just sits there and nods. Mind you they're a point about Preston who could be on their way to relegation if they lose to Plymouth tomorrow ... ... their form under Paul Heckingbottom is absolutely dreadful.
I bet Stoke’s Xl tonight cost more than ours and they’re now years behind our recruitment, really puts it to perspective how good of a job Speakman has done. Yes we’ve signed a few duds which is to be expected but we’ve more than made up for it. They paid more for Gooch than I think we paid for both Hume and Cirkin. I reckon Plymouth will beat Preston tomorrow and take it to the final day against a Leeds with nothing to play for. Would be incredible if they managed to stay up and I’d like to see it to be honest. New manager came in to a **** show and has tried to play some good football with a limited squad, picked up some good results lately too but maybe just a tad too late. Playing a lot better football than Stoke and Preston have been that’s for sure. If they sacked Rooney a few matches earlier they would’ve had a good chance of surviving.
In hindsight he should have left Spurs way earlier than he did, someone of his class should have multiple league titles under his belt already.
Love Goochy. We’ve undoubtedly moved on from him and he’s nowhere near our level, but he was a good lad and decent enough early in his career. Met him a few times, mackem yank!! Lovely fella too and absolutely loves the club and the area
draw is probably the best result would then like to see Derby, Plymouth and Cardiff win today to squeeze up the bottom to last game of the season
I just want Bristol to get a result and finish 5th no easy games and nothing for granted but rather those over two legs and let sheff take boro, cov etc then the final anything can happen
