And, oh aye, them winning trophies is inevitable. Another reason why it wont hurt. Maybe ive made peace with it? I dont know. But their future success will be water off a ducks back. Any disasters they endure i will probably have a good chuckle at their expense. Win/win.

But if you weren’t bothered about them, fair enough you wouldn’t care about them winning trophies. Not sure why you’d chuckle at them if you weren’t bothered about them, though? Surely you would just ignore that too…
Good post. However, since their takeover, I have to admit I've lost pretty much any "give a ****" toward them. Up until a few years ago between the two clubs we had best part of 90 thousand fans attending home games between us. Both of us would win 1 followed by losing 2, making for crack on a Monday morning. We were very similar. They became sterilised over night. The media went from laughing at them to kissing their arse, over night. Rivalry is usually born out of similarities, we aren't similar anymore. All of this is in my opinion of course and many will disagree, but you can't talk to their fans anymore about anything to do with football because "ya just jealous,man". You can't convers with that. I do believe that at some point it will happen to us, owners like theirs probably enjoy competition between each other.
I work with full blown season ticket holders mate and they're normally OK, it's the armchair fans that attempt to talk ****e.
There used to be loads of Liverpool and Man Utd shirts around the town now they seemed to have disappeared and fake mags have popped up

Last night I was thinking I don’t care who wins or losers I hate them both, but on reflection I hate Moyes that little bit more, didn’t think I would ever say that but I hate the ugly snivelling bastard.
Totally agree mate, to be honest I don't think about Newcastle at all...they only come on my radar when it's Derby day and obviously we haven't had one of those in a while, mind they'll be pleased about that cos they were sick of getting beat. Am I jealous about their current situation...Not at all, like other 'big' clubs they've bought their moment in the spotlight and for me let them get on with it. Rooting for West Ham to end up in the bottom three mind.
Like if my arsehole next door neighbour, arrogant prick, won the lottery. Boasted to me about it, waving wads of notes in my face, finds a beautiful woman and moves into a big house in the posh next town over, next door to Mr Man City and across the road from the PSG's. I would by and large forget about him, have my own life to deal with. Maybe occassionally hearing about his new life of luxury. 5 years later he moves back next door, penniless, divorced and a little less arrogant. I think i would have a chuckle at his expense.
The football related Facebook posts of a fella I know ,( originally didn’t even know he was interested in football ), total 5. They all say simply “ I love football me” First three were after 3 games of ours that we labelled worst performance in our history , then after game which first touched them on 3rd place , and now last night because they thumped some trash . Embarrassing.
